Welcome, namaste! (did you know that this word is actually a greeting?) My name is Jennifer, and I am so happy you’ve found me. I am passionate about helping beginners discover more about their bodies through yoga.
I am a 200 hour Registered Yoga Teacher with Yoga Alliance and I had the privilege of completing my training with CorePower Yoga near my home in Lake Balboa, California in the San Fernando Valley. So yes, that makes me a Valley Girl!
I hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communication & Media Studies and a Master of Science in Technical Communication from Arizona State University. I have worked in the music industry for nearly three decades and for Universal Music Group for 19 years, where I manage a global training & communication department.
So…Why Snow Apple?
Snow Apple Drive is the street I grew up in Michigan. It was a small town (at the time!) in Southeast Michigan, between Detroit and Flint.
Our little neighborhood had several roads named after trees and birds, and as a child, I thought this was pretty normal and everyone grew up on a street like Chickadee, Plum, Almond, or Mockingbird Lane.
It sounds so picturesque, and really, it was. Everyone in town knew Snow Apple Drive as it wove around and crisscrossed connecting more than one neighborhood. She was the common thread, or link within our community in more ways than one.
I recognize these blessings and wanted to evoke that same sense of innocence and discovery while remaining connected with my roots. Snow Apple is so profoundly a part of me, and I hope to share her with each of you.
